BC2GUI Installation

NOTICE: The images in this document show file names with an older version number (1.3.0.9) but fear not: the install instructions remain unchanged for newer versions.

These instructions are intended for people who want to install or upgrade BC2Gui.

There are two approaches: installing directly from the Internet, or installing from a portable drive. Which method you choose will depend on your situation.

Installing BC2Gui From the Internet

This method requires that the Teguar tablet is powered ON and connected to the Internet.

1. Ensure that the on-screen keyboard is activated: press, hold and release with your finger on the Date and Time at the bottom-right of the screen, and verify that Show touch keyboard button is checked. When activated, this option enables the keyboard icon next to the clock:

2. Open the Microsoft Edge browser. Its icon looks like:

3. Tap the on-screen keyboard icon. With the on-screen keyboard open, enter the following URL into the address bar of the browser:

support.sunovaworx.com

4. Tap the Download Folder link.

5. Tap the link for the newest BC2Gui installer:

BC2Gui_1.3.0.15_Setup.exe

6.You will be asked if you want to Run or Save the downloaded file. Tap Run.

7. Windows Defender might decide that this file is suspicious. If this happens, tap More info.

8. Tap Run anyway.

9. You will be asked to confirm that you want to run this installer. Tap Yes.

10. When the installer runs, tap Install.

11. When the installer completes, tap Finish.

If the installation process was successful, BC2Gui will attempt to start automatically.

This completes the install/upgrade procedure.

Installing BC2Gui From a Portable Drive (Thumb Drive)

This method is for people who:

receive a thumb drive from SunovaWorX containing the installer
have previously downloaded the installer themselves from the SunovaWorX support website and placed it onto their own thumb drive using their home or work computer.

This method is ideal in situations where the tablet itself does not have a direct connection to the Internet.

1. Insert the thumb drive into an unused USB port on the side of the tablet.

2. A window displaying the contents of the drive will automatically open. Tap the installer filename:

BC2Gui_1.3.0.15_Setup

3. Complete steps 9 - 11 above.

If the installation process was successful, BC2Gui will attempt to start automatically.

This completes the install/upgrade procedure.
